about us …. Frederick began his career in 1988 as an apprentice under Salvatore Sciarpa at Westmar Transmission, where he learned skills he still uses today. Later, he joined Eagle Transmission, progressing from lead technician to head re-builder. Consequently, in 2004 he opened The Transmission Clinic, which remains a trusted repair shop in Rochester. Then, in 2009, Frederick acquired Eagle Transmission Service Inc., and in 2023, he purchased Airport Transmission, adding his personal touch that customers love. Moreover, under his leadership, the Rochester Transmission Group now owns Airport Transmission, The Transmission Clinic, Eagle Transmission, and Milt & Ron’s Transmission, providing reliable Rochester transmission services. Finally, we welcome all customers to visit and meet Frederick for any questions or concerns.
Mike began his career at Eagle Transmission, starting as a tear-down man. Eventually, he advanced to R&R technician, gaining hands-on experience with every type of transmission. When Frederick left to start his own business, Mike joined him in the spring of 2006 at The Transmission Clinic. Consequently, his hard work and dedication helped build a loyal customer base. Today, Mike serves as Store Manager and lead technician at Airport Transmission, bringing extensive knowledge of transmission mechanics and electronics. Moreover, he ensures that customers are always the top priority, taking the time to clearly explain what needs to be done for reliable repairs. Additionally, our team follows proven procedures to guarantee long-lasting results. Ultimately, with Mike’s expertise and commitment, Airport Transmission continues to provide trusted transmission repair services in Rochester, NY, keeping vehicles safe and on the road.
Michael is the newest addition to Airport Transmission. Initially, under Frederick’s and Mike’s guidance, he is quickly becoming a valuable asset to our team.
